The AddOn Index
... an attempt to index and sort 1.12.1 AddOns and resources.
I created this thread as an attempt to help people download single AddOns instead of having to download entire compilations.
Most of these AddOns have been found in one of two AddOn compilations, which I came to know in these threads: Vanilla 1.12 Addons and More 1.12.1 Addons.
Thanks a ton to Sheina for posting the original thread and allowing me to use the compilation for this project. Thanks to WoWWiki, Wowpedia, Curse, Ace, WowInterface, etc. for many of the AddOns and their descriptions. I made the images myself.
Each AddOn will have it's own little "section" of the thread. Please notice that this is still very much a work in progress, and that the first version will be posted without much content at all. Every link is a direct link to my Dropbox, which means that you will download the file upon clicking on the link - there is no site between the forum and the file. All AddOns you download from here will be packaged in .rar, so you need WinRAR to extract them: http://bit.ly/tJFRyd (WinRAR Download)
This post will probably also span over quite a few sub-posts, as there's an image-limit in forum posts.
Various 1.12.1 resources:
http://vranx.com/nameplates.htm#graphics - According to Vranx.com: The nameplate graphics are inside the interface/tooltips folder. You need to maintain that structure by placing them into your own interface/tooltips folder inside your WoW folder and they will overwrite the default graphics. If you dont have a tooltips folder create one.
Please say the word if you feel an AddOn is missing or obsolete - I will do my very best to track down the most current and best 1.12.1 AddOns you need.
So yes... I'm taking requests!
Version 1.7.3 (Release)
Atlas is an addon for World of Warcraft that includes detailed maps for every instance in the game. Furthermore, Atlas provides detailed and accurate information about all of the creatures, NPCs, objects, and events you'll encounter in each dungeon. General information about each zone is provided as well, including its location, level range, player limit, attenuation requirement, and associated faction. All entrances, exits, portals, and connections are labelled clearly. Finally, in addition to instances, Atlas comes with a handful of optional components that add even more maps. These include outdoor encounter maps, global transportation maps, dungeon location maps, and battleground maps. A number of third-party Atlas extensions are available as well, which further augment the functionality of Atlas. AtlasLoot is the most popular of these, providing detailed drop and item information for every encounter.
Version 1.21.02 (Pre-TBC)
AtlasLoot is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game. It can access full item tooltips, show drop rates, allow items to be chat linked and to use the dressing room. AtlasLoot allows players to view all items that are currently attainable in game. In order to view the tooltips of a specific item at least one player on your World off Warcraft server must have seen the item drop of its perspective Dungeon Boss. Items will not be added to your in-game library until they are made available for acquisition.
Version 1.5.9 (r15915)
Bartender is a full ActionBar replacement mod. It provides you with all the features needed to fully customization most aspects of your action and related bars.
Version 1.0.0 (v11200)
Clique is a simple addon that enables powerful click-casting and hover-casting on your unit frames and in the 3D game world. You can bind virtually any mouse or keyboard combination to a spell or macro. In it's normal configuration this enables you to use the bindings over your unit frames in order to cast spells directly on that unit. This allows you to more quickly select both the spell to cast, and the target of the spell without requiring an extra click. To begin with Clique, open your spellbook and click on the new tab that is shown there. From this binding interface you can add, remove and alter any of your Clique bindings. You will be unable to make these changes when you are in combat due to limitations in the Blizzard API.
Version 1.0 (Release)
"CoolDown is a really nice visual Cooldown addon. Check it out".
Thanks to forum user Vernoth for telling me about this Addon - it is, indeed, awesome!
Version 3.1 (11200)
Critline is an addon that will remember your highest hits and crits (including heals and pet attacks), and display them in a fairly simple tooltip. It sports many features by default, including filtering, a standalone frame, splash on new record and more. All this can be disabled if you just want the basic functionality.
Version 1.856 (r11200)
CTMod is a custom user interface for World of Warcraft that adds tools ranging from the most basic functionality enhancements to advanced gameplay features, based on what the user needs. If you are just beginning to use UI mods or are a seasoned veteran looking to enhance your UI, CTMod likely has something for you.
Version 0.1 (Prerelease)
Grid is a party/raid unit frame addon. The compact grid of units lets you select a group member quickly, while keeping a good overview of the whole group. Its aim is to display as much information as possible without overloading the user. It allows you to customize what information you see, and how that information is displayed.
Leatrix Latency Fix
Version 126.96.36.199 (Release)
Not as much an addon per-se, as a Windows-tweak: Leatrix Latency Fix will reduce your online gaming latency significantly by increasing the frequency of TCP acknowledgements sent to the game server. For the technically minded, this is a program which will modify TCPAckFrequency. If you like it, you should check out the official thread over at WoWInterface: http://bit.ly/w0wLZ0
Otravi Casting Bar is an alternate casting bar addon, written by Otravi, and originally release in early '06. It is a simple replacement without too many options or settings. Should you want to move it from it's default middle-screen placement, simply drag it out of the way. Great looking mod.
