Hi. I have seen on warsong that lots of peple asking "where go to level..30+..40+" etc.

It doesnt bother me much but i thought that if people asks, we can give them reason to log on forums to check this topic.

IF this is useful i think this should be pinned.

Grinding for gear dependent classes just aint gonna work.. grind a 60 mage then just boost every alt you want to level through tap grind. Then pick herbalism on your mage and youre good to go for raiding ;-D

Now make a leveling guide 1-60 for people doing x1 EXP :3

I don't see what the difference would be. The zone breakdowns would still be the same... ;) Granted, I can't see the grinding method being particularly entertaining, but at least you know where to go to find quests, too.

i had /played 2d 2h.

it helps if u got little bit money from the beginning for skills and mount.

and i have hunter so i managed with low level greens cos of tonk pet. (had starter gun to like lvl 40)

Coords could be included, but not important.

g.gif

when you arrive to a new zone, almoust every mob has same level range than those mobs mentioned in guide..

if not, travel along the road and stop when u find suitable mobs.

I like to stick more into questing than grinding, and it makes you ding 60 in about 1 day (without any qhelper). It's of course everyone's personal opinions what they like the best.

Uhhh. This is horrible advice no offense. QUEST QUEST QUEST!!! I dont play horde but alliance heres what I do....

1-10 in your nice guy zone

10-15 in your second zone ( i always go to goldshire)

15-20ish in lakeshire

20ish to 30ish in darkshire (pick all quests up in town then do the quests on the west at 20 and go from there

30-45 in STV. Do the nessy quests. Get the quests from the northen camp. Then go to BB when youre 40 and do the pirate quests/akaris reed, etc.

45-50 take the boat from BB to ratchet and fly to tanaris. Do all quests here

50-55 go back to searing gorge. Do all quests here and its good TB rep.

55-60 i like EPL cauldron quests. You can also go to winterspring if u like the snow ;)

Hope this helps ;)

Grind all the way to lvl 60? You would probably need to do some quests, since it's hard to kill high level mobs in your white starter gear :)

I found the it best to pick up one quest at each area, and grind those mobs hand the quest in and move on.

Pick up a quest that requires you to kill something for your profession (if you have one) - Humanoids for cloth, beasts for leather, etc.

This way you get a nice feel of questing without the pure feeling of grinding, plus you get some quest gear (always a bonus on Feenix :) ), and profession mats (of course you would need to grind more than the kill count if you want to keep skills at the same level).

As for places to go, I cant remember of the top of my head.

I would be interested in other peoples guides/how they take a new character from level 1-60, whether its a new or alt, with gold or not :D

I recently starting following this guide. As mentioned above, it is very handy to grab any kill quests and hammer those out along with good'ol grinding. Just make sure to keep on top of training your spells and what not. I am doing this with a priest and having no problems at all. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry bro but this guide is shit. And all you who upvote this... Jesus... This game is not about grinding, it's about questing. I can bet you all money in the world that questing will get you to 60 ALOT quicker than grinding. If you have 2 days and 2 hours /played by the time you get to 60 - you are doing this VERY wrong. You can reach 60 in 10 hours /played. And by the 2 days /played you can be full BIS geared. Anyone who played this game before will agree. I never EVER grinded in my life. On other servers if you are stuck between zones, just do some dungeons to close the level gap.

It's not a rocket science really. Do like jbodet765 said. I do like this (Alliance):

1-10 starting zone

10-20 Westfall

20-25 Redridge, you can be 30 if you stick around in Redrige longer, because Darkshire is usually full of people.

25-35 Darkshire

35-45 Stranglethorn, or if you hate being ganked, go Southshore

45-52 Searing Gorge, Tanaris or Feralas

52-56/58 Burning Steppes, Un'Goro

56/58-60 Winterspring, Silithus

You can level your professions on the way which is, in my opinion, better than walking all around the world later. If you're low on gold, which you are if it's your first character, learn only your main spells (which you use for killing mostly), sell found cloth/leather/other mats or items on AH.

No offence intended. This grinding guide may work for someone. But like Chris Rock said "Sure you can drive a car with your feet if you want. But that doesn't make it a good idea."

It's freaking Warsong. Go kill things. That's it. 12x experience. What else do you need?

Warsong humps btw. 1200% experience simply means that reaching level 60 means nothing. At all. Enjoy your shallow gaming experience.

Grinding is slow. You said it took you 2 days /played to hit 60 doing this. I can hit 60 in a day /played by questing (it'd probably take a few more hours for someone who had never done the quests before). However, this guide does give good advice on what zones to go do for each level, so good job on that. I'm sure it will help someone out.
