Ok, now that Ive figured it all out I want to help people with this.

PC version

Download the first torrent at this link

Make sure you have uTorrent first.

Let it install, would recommend doing it overnight.

Right click it and it click open containing folder.

Find the file and drag it to your desktop it should be a notepad file.

Download WinZip here. http://www.winzip.com/win/en/index.htm (If you want the full version check piratebay)

Extract the notepad file from your desktop onto it and extract all files option.

This should create a new folder and inside will be all the programs.

Find realmlist and delete everything and type in set realmlist vanillafeenix.servegame.org

Save it

Launch it with wow.exe, not launcher.

Login with your account. I had difficulties doing this with my forum account at first so I made a new account on the SITE itself here https://www.wow-one.com/vanilla_wow/ Use a hotmail email address ( as sometimes it doesnt send some stuff like the verification) then verify it

Should be working

kudos to all that helped me do this, now I wanna help other people

Mod edit:
Mac version

To install the game with a 1.12.1 patch on Mac you will first need to download this file and install it. After that you are going to want to patch it to 1.12.0 (global patch) using this file and last you will need to patch the game to the 1.12.1 patch using this file.

You should now have a fully installed version of the 1.12.1 World of Warcraft. Now all you need to do is set the realmlist to:

set realmlist vanillafeenix.servegame.org
and you are now ready to log on to your Feenix account!

Please make a guide how to join the vanilla wow server on a MAC, searched everywhere for an old 1.12 client, but I didnt find one. I even was on mc-wow.eu (your old site, i think(?)), there was a guide and a downloadlink for mac, but it didnt work because you had to register. I tried to register but it said, that I couldnt register at this time :)

Is it possible to install the game using the original CDs and download the patches from the server afterwards? Or at least to download the patches themselves (without the full game)?
That'd be a lot easier and faster.

I've checked the forums, reinstalled(just in-case i did something wrong) Went by the book so far, and i cannot login. I created an account, followed the guides. lurked the forums for more information, and have yet to succeed. I hate posting on forums on how to do something just to find out i did it wrong lol. It's not letting me login the vanilla server, I've been dreaming of a working vanilla private server with decency to not fall to donations and such... Just wish i could find more information on how to connect easier. BTW Realmlist is set correctly, and im not using the launcher. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Hi guys. When i start ''wow.exe'' this pop-up comes up. It stands:

Failed to initialize because DivxDecoder.dll missing from the computer. You can try to fix the problem by reinstalling the program.

How do i get that file?
