Want to join one of the major raiding guilds on Emerald Dream? Want to join a serious guild that still has progress and not just farm on its schedule? You missed your chance, as we got all content on farm! But don't fret, there's still a chance to join one of the servers top guilds, as we are still recruiting!

<enigmatic> EU is an established guild on the Horde side of Emerald Dream, and we are always in the lookout for some dedicated and skilled raiders to add to our roster.

CURRENT RECRUITMENT STATUS:

1x Druid

2x Priest

We have decided to be much more open with applications to fill in for possible absences and find members who will be able to uphold a near 100% attendance. This fit your description? Make an application regardless of class(we won't pass up the chance to grab a rising star).

Wish to apply, but you don't want to risk losing your current spot in a guild by making a public application? Simply send the application to me through PM on these forums, or to my profile on enjin ( http://enigmatic-ed.com/profile/5080777, it will not be made public unless it is accepted.

Keep in mind, we DO have enough of every class, what we are looking for are players of EXCEPTIONAL caliber, either the quickest of learners or the most experienced of raiders who will be able to attend our raids reliably. To keep your spot in the guild, you will have to perform better than our previous ones and take their place.

We no longer accept applications from players who have yet started playing / are low leveled unless you have an extraordinary repertoire to present, if you want to join Enigmatic, level up and gear up a bit (and by a "bit" we mean you better be pre-raid BiS) to prove you are interested!

Website: www.enigmatic-ed.com

Now, why would you be interested in joining Enigmatic? First, let me tell you a bit about our guild.

Enigmatic was created almost four years ago as a raiding guild focused on completing vanilla content on Trollbane EU and as such we succeeded greatly, clearing all the way up to Twins in AQ40 using heavy restrictions to simulate the true vanilla experience. Unfortunately, blizz dislikes its vanilla self and our guild disbanded due to the removal of old content.

Now we have reunited several years later to challenge the vanilla experience once more. We are a guild focused on progression, dedication, skill and most importantly, enjoyment.

It was the good times we had as a raiding guild that has caused our members to keep contact with each other for years after leaving the game and it is such a community we seek to recreate. A community so strong we will not only be friends within the game, but outside it as well.

The long term goal of Enigmatic is to become one of the leading guilds on Emerald Dream, where we will be participating in the race for server firsts and fight for the right to down the world bosses (which we have now achieved).

For now we are working hard at gearing ourselves up in Blackwing Lair, getting ready to enter the race for Ahn'Qiraj on even grounds with the guilds established before us.

So what can I say about our leaders?

We are all experienced raiders and most importantly, experienced raid leaders. We are selfless in the sense that we do what we can to aid the guilds progress and put its wellbeing before our own. Not to mention we are damn fun to be around. We will give our all to ensure that the guild is thriving.

Although when you have over fourty players being around each other for longer periods of times, you can't expect there not to be a few bumps here and there. You can count on the officers of Enigmatic to be mediators for such issues, and we will resolve such issues to the best of our ability, without compromising either side. We realize that a strong and successful guild needs to be built up of trust and respect, not out of contempt and slander.

Expectations:

What are we looking for in our potential members?

As you can see, we aim for a pretty laid back and fun environment for our members, but we also aim to become a top raiding guild on the server. Contradictory? Many think so, but we do not.

It is all in the attitude and the amount of effort from our members. To be able to afford an environment like this, we have to set pretty high expectations.

We expect top performance in our raids, meeting up with consumables, flasks, knowing the strategies and a good attitude are a must.

We don't expect you to be the best player in the world, but we expect you to be open to improvement where it is needed, listen to advice and be willing to work together as a team, we expect you to learn your class mechanics and how to use them to their fullest.

You must also be able to attend raids regularely, inactive members are not desireable. Why give items to members who wont be there to use it to further our progress? If you show low activity, chances are you will demoted to the dreaded benchwarmer, only invited when we lack players.

We will also be using Ventrilo, while it is not expected of you to have your own microphone and be a part of conversation, being in the raid channel during raids is a must.

However, raiding is only a small part of what makes a guild work. A friendly and cooperative environment where we all help each other gear up outside of raids is also instrumental to a guilds success.

We also have a minimum age requirement of 18+.

Raid Times:

We raid on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Invites start 19:00, first pull at 19:30, and the raid lasts til 23:30. We understand that many people want to have their weekends off, so we don't have any raids during these days. Currently we do not typically raid on Tuesdays, but when new content arrives for us to progress through, we will return it.

So just to make it abundantly clear, it's 19:00 to 23:30!

Loot distribution:

In Enigmatic we will be using a Loot Council. Why a loot council instead of DKP? DKP is not a flexible system. With a loot council, we will be able to streamline our guild as a raiding force. Items will go where they are needed to further strengthen us as a group, not as individuals.

A loot council will also work as an incentive for people to help the guild more outside of raids, with flasks, raiding craftables and other consumables crucial to a raiding guild.

NOTICE: This does NOT mean you will get the item just because you get the largest direct upgrade. If that was the case, people who tried to gear themselves up would be punished, while those who slack and meet up to raids in greens would get free epics. Effort and contribution is the most important factor we take into consideration. If you are not pre-raid BiS, you obviously do not care enough about gearing yourself up, so don't expect much.

If you have any further questions, give me a message over the forums, or contact me on http://enigmatic-ed.com/contact. I'll answer your questions to the best of my abilities. You can also just hit up a chat with one of our online members and I'm certain they would help you with any questions you have and direct you to an online officer.

Thanks for the support Don, means a lot to hear that coming from Dreamstate. :P

Now, our first raid was a few days ago, and our second one is coming up tomorrow!

So far Enigmatics progress boasts an amazing 2/10 in MC! Ok, maybe not that impressive, but considering we downed both bosses on our first attempt (no wipes on bosses!.. and around 8 on trash) with a group of only 22 players, whereof 6 were below 60, I'd say thats pretty damn good (Only 2 level 60 healers, 3 level 57-58).

Unfortunately the server became unplayable for close to two hours during our raid time, so we lost out on much potential progress.

Future is looking bright as the rest of our guild works to reach 60, we had 36 members online during our first raid!

Tomorrow we are starting at Geddon, a fairly easy match! Maybe we even have enough warlocks at 58+ to attempt Garr! But that remains to see.

Currently we are most in the lookout for priests, shamans and druids. Although others are free to apply.

On our second raid, with 27 players, we downed 2 more bosses, Baron Geddon and Shazzrah, unfortunately we didn't have enough tanks / warlocks to attempt Garr just yet, so we moved on to Sulfuron Harbringer, which proved a bit too much for our (lack of) healers and tanks. Next week we will progress even further as we have many warlocks that recently cleared the 50 mark.

Currently in need of priests, shamans, druids and hunters!

Others may apply of course, we are only 27 people currently in raid, theres room for many more.

Third raid: Finally enough warlocks to attempt Garr, and down he goes on our first attempt! So that marks the fifth boss down in MC, which we have noticed is the spot that most of the other "new" guilds are at. They have however been raiding for a while, this was our third raid, and we cleared them all in two hours!

Unfortunately we were one tank short of attempting sulfuron harbringer, but next Tuesday we should have multiple new healers and that one tank we were missing, so we should get at least two more down within this reset!

This days raid was 32 man strong, but we are still in need of Hunters and healers.

@Ciq: I'm afraid not, we tried to get him with us but he now has a thing called a "life", apparently, we are still keeping contact with him over facebook though. Where do you know him from?

And a big thanks to all the others for the bumps!

Except Serious, he is too jealous of my jewgolds.

" Due to the Swedish national drunk day or whatever, no Swedes (nor Finns, they dont pass a good chance to get drunk) will be in raiding condition. Since around a third of our guild is Swedish and will be out getting shitfaced, the raid on Tuesday 30th of April will be moved to Sunday 28th. That way we can avoid their inevitable hangover as well. "

made my day :P

GL for ragnaros !

So today we downed Ragnaros...

First attempt he went down to 19% after an ugly start, second attempt we got him down to 40% before the first dive, even when it was a ninjapull.

Third attempt he bugged and did nothing until he had reached 70%, giving us a free 30% head start, which was enough for us to finish him in time. So it was not a legitimate kill and we will not count it as progression.

At least we are 9/10 in Molten Core, ehh? :P

We have now opened up recruitment of all classes to get some competition in the guild. People seem to have been slacking off too much, and we are lacking the power we need when one or two don't attend. Think you can replace them? Hit us up and tell us why!
