I dont know if you guys are familiar with ElvUI. It was (and still is) one of the most popular UI customizations. It is a mod of the famous TukUI. I loved it back in WotLK. I know that there is a TukUI remake out here, but to be honest (no offence to the author) I don't like it at all, so I decided to make my own one.
IMPORTANT: The current version of my remake is a very early beta. The purpose of this topic is to get some feedback from you guys. To be clear right away: it's not possible to copy it 100%. I'm trying my best to get as close as possible, but I will not reach 100%.
INTERFACE UPDATED! Scrool down to see changelog! (Current revision: 190)
Please be informed that this is still an early beta! Please read the readme file on GitHub to avoid basic questions.
• fully skinned addons (there are still addons need to be skinned)
• 4 in 2 Action bars (hold shift to switch)
• unique class bar (not stance, pet or combo bar) (still needs to be implemented)
• Auto repair on vendor gossip
• Auto sell trash on vendor gossip
• Auto show/hide of SWStats and KTM (still needs to be implemented)
• more to add
Lets get started. For those of you who aren't familiar with ElvUI, this is what I am trying to copy:
Original ElvUI version 1.44 (For WotLK 3.3.5a)
So what does my Remake look like? UPDATED VIEW (Revision 190)!
Explanation of UI elements (Please note: Some of the elements shown here are already outdated)
I think that is all I can show you right now. Of course there is a shitload that needs to be done.
Overhauled Fubar addons:
New bag frame (It's still in development)!
- Auto clean
- Combine stacks
- sort option
New Party frame:
Action bar overhauled + new UI textures
New cast bar layout
New enemy cast bars
New guild/friends layout
New buff and minimap layout
Please know that I also updated the main view (second picture in this thread) of the UI.
Turtleneckchain - for generally helping me out.
I probably forgot to mention important things.. but I will update the thread as soon as they come in mind. So what do you guys think about my attempt to remake ElvUI? I kinda like it so far, although it takes hugh amounts of time to configurate it.
