Hacking is taken as the use of any third party program that directly interacts with gameplay.
In most cases these are used to gaina certain behavior or feature that would not be accessible
without. Being found using any kind of hack on our realms wil always result in an immediate
and permanent suspension from our services.

An exploit, in video games, is the use of a bug or design flaw by a player to their advantage in
a manner not intended by the game's designers. The existence of a bug never grants permission
for players to exploit it, neither will the presence of a bug ever justify its (ab)use.

TLDR, Most common questions and answers

    General Questions

Q: Many Servers shut down after a while! Will I waste my time on Feenix too?

A:  No. Unlike other projects we saw rising and sadly vanishing into thin air again, we take the
time you dedicated on Feenix serious.

Feenix Server Project is active for over a decade already and we have proven our long term
commitment and dedication to our beloved project and comunity. We have been, and will
be around for a long, long time.

There are no character rolbacks or wipes on Feenix.

Q: Is Feenix exactly as retail?

A:  We aim for a retail alike experience for all members. With some minor customizations      depending on which realm you choose to play.

Per example, on some realms we have a customizable experience rate. Therefore, members      who have less time to play the game, can stilll enjoy all available content. All endgame content      is developed to be like you experienced it on retail.

    Q: Does Feenix have bugs?

A:  Yes, same as all other privately hosted projects, we have bugs and glitches. However, we have
access to a professional development team, working around the clock to ensure that issues
are caught and fixed in a fast rate.

Q: Something works for others and not for me?

A: When you have issues as: Not seeing your spells, unable to tame beasts as hunter, or having
any other unusual issue that other members do not have, it is most likely your game cache
         interfering with your game play.

When encountering such issues, always delete your game client's Cache / WDB before asking
         Feenix Team assistance.

A detailed explanation how to clear your cache can be found on our forums

Q: I have a character on retail or another Server, can I transfer to Feenix?

A: No. We do not accept transfers from retail or other (fun) servers/projects.

Q: Can I transfer between factions?

A: You can safely abandon your quest, and retake it. You will now be able to complete your quest.
